Q. How does the iron get that Aged Look?
A. After welding, we apply liquid metals and patina that ages The metals rapidly and creates the brilliant colors.
Q. Does the rust come off?
A. We lightly coat our products with a clear finish, but some may rub off when handled because it is the real rust that gives it its beauty.
Q. What is the best way to mount the angle brackets?
A. It is best to use the appropriate lag screws for the size of the bracket. Screw the bracket into wall studs or large wall anchors. You should always check with your contractor to be sure.
Q. Does the Antique Patina Iron keep aging?
A. The patina on our iron products will continue to age slightly, as all metals do. If used outdoors, the patina reacts to the elements as does all iron, but it just adds to the beauty.
